Registration of the chamber of commerce in Pakistan is important for every business individual, firm, or private limited company, who wants to work as an importer or exporter in the country. The registration of the chamber of commerce in Pakistan is also necessary to be a part of the business community in the country. The motive of the chamber of commerce is to provide maximum relief to the business community. The chamber also expresses the upcoming policies on the enhancement of the export of the count. There are two classes of the chamber’s registration as follows;

Corporate Class:

Any multinational company, public or private limited company, manufacturer, importer, or exporter having fifty million or above annual turnover may register in this class.

Associate Class:

Any business individual as a sole proprietor, partnership firm, or association of person who has less than fifty million annual turnovers may register in this class.

Registration for Chamber of commerce:

The applicant needs to arrange the following documents along with duly filled and signed the application and prescribed fee for the concerned class.

Documents required for proprietorship:

  1. An application for registration in the name of the secretary-general on the business letterhead pad.
  2. Complete filled application form.
  3. Copy of the National Tax Number (NTN) certificate.
  4. Copy of the CNIC.
  5. Copy of the Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN) certificate (if any).
  6. Original bank maintenance certificate having the name of the business (not older than 3 months).
  7. Copy of the electricity bill.
  8. Prescribed fee in the prescribed format of the relevant class.

Documents required for partnership:

  1. An application for registration in the name of the secretary-general on the business letterhead pad.
  2. Complete filled application form.
  3. Copy of the National Tax Number (NTN) certificate of the firm and the partners.
  4. Copy of the CNICs of all the partners.
  5. Copy of the Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN) certificate (if any).
  6. Original bank maintenance certificate having the name of the business (not older than 3 months).
  7. A copy of the partnership deed on Rs. 1000 stamp paper.
  8. Firm registration certificate (form C).
  9. Copy of the electricity bill.
  10. Prescribed fee in the prescribed format of the relevant class.

Documents required for private limited company/limited company:

  1. An application for registration in the name of the secretary-general on the business letterhead pad.
  2. Complete filled application form.
  3. Copy of the National Tax Number (NTN) certificate of the company.
  4. Copy of the CNICs of all the directors.
  5. Copy of the Sales Tax Registration Certificate (STRN) (if any).
  6. Original bank maintenance certificate having the name of the business (not older than 3 months).
  7. Copy of the memorandum and article of association which is signed by all the directors and verified by SECP.
  8. Form 29 verified from the SECP.
  9. Incorporation certificate of the company.
  10. Copy of the electricity bill.
  11. Prescribed fee in the prescribed format of the relevant class.

NOTE: In case of non-availability of owner/ director/ partner for receiving partnership certificate or other documents the concerned person should be come with an authorization letter.

The applicant’s business must be as per the scope of the business of the chamber.

The application form should be verified (Signed and stamp) by the proposed and seconded by two existing members of the chamber.

CNICs of both the persons.

The application form may be received from the office of the chamber after depositing the fee in the concerned bank branch.

Photocopies of the application form not allowed.

Precaution:

Inform the institute regarding any change immediately.

Overwriting and cutting to be not allowed.

Affixed photos with the registration form in white background and American passport size.
