How to register the IT companies and call centers in Pakistan, the registration of the IT companies and call centers in Pakistan are mandatory to carry on the business. Pakistan Software Export Board is an apex government body that is not only facilitating the IT industry but also promoting innovations and technologies. The government also proving the income tax exemption for the IT Export until June 2025, whereas, Pakistan has a large talent poll in English-Speaking and skilled-forced in the software development field. There are more than 3000 active companies which are proving the highly skilled services all over the world. Here, we will learn how to register the IT company and call center in Pakistan. 

Required Documents:

The following documents are required to register the IT company and call center in Pakistan for the Sole Proprietor, Partnership Firm and Private Limited Company;

  1. National Tax Number (NTN) of the Sole Proprietor, Partnership Firm, and Private Limited Company.
  2. CNIC of all Directors / Shareholders / Partners / Proprietor
  3. Bank Statement of six months or account maintenance certificate in case of new business.

The following information is only required for the Private Limited Companies;

  1. Copy of the Passport of the Directors / Shareholders / Partners (for foreign nationals only)
  2. Attested copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  3. Attested copy of Form 29 and Form A.
  4. Attested copy of the Incorporation certificate.

The following information is only required for the Partnership Firm;

  1. Attested copy of the Partnership deed.
  2. Attested copy of Firm registration certificate Form C.

Fee Structure:

There are two types of the fee which may need to be submitted for two different categories;

For startups Rs. 5000/- fee need to be deposited only for one year.

For companies Rs. 10,000/- fee need to be deposited only for more than one year.

Procedure to Register the IT Company:

Create the login Password by Signup, the temporary login credentials will be issued by the system automatically which the user can use for the further process.

While, generating the login I’d and password, use it in the relevant field for login to the user’s account and the online registration form will appear. The applicant should be filled up the registration form in the prescribed form and then upload the applicable documents to submit for initial approval. The submission may be declined if there is any important information that will be miss in the registration form.

When the initial approval may be granted by the department, then the applicant should be deposited the requisite fee, and upload the payment receipt by logging in the account to submit for final approval.

The department verifies the payment through its online verification system and Once the registration fee may be verified then the department may issue the certificate that usually may take about 2-5 working days.

Procedure to Register the Call Center:

Create the login Password by Signup, the temporary login credentials will be issued by the system automatically which the user can use for the further process.

After logging in to the account through user I’d password, upload the required documents such as CNIC of all Directors / Shareholders / Partners / Proprietor) and submit for the initial approval the form may decline if the form is missed any mandatory information.

After getting initial PSEB approval, deposit requisite fee, upload payment receipt, and submit for final approval.

Once the registration payment is verified it usually takes about 2-5 working days to process and issue the provisional letter (valid for 60 days).

The registration will be confirmed after physical verification and site inspection of the call center premises by the representative of the PSEB.

To complete the verification process, the applicant will be required to submit a request for physical verification of their premises and upload all applicable documents as mention below:

Fee Structure:

  •   The annual registration fee for the principal office is Rs. 20,000/-
  •    Annual registration/Renewal for each branch (if any) Rs. 10,000/-
